The
entrance to the restaurant is pratically a panoramic terrace that acts
as the arrival point for the evocative cable-car that links the
historical centre of Gubbio with the basilica of St. Ubaldo where the famous candlesticks, called ceri, are kept.
The
large and elegant halls, including from 50 to 400 seats, that face the
splendid Gubbio valley and the attractive terrace are the ideal places
for your receptions and banquets.
Having a top view of Gubbio and surrounded by a wonderful natural landscape, you will have the possibility to taste the typical truffle and mush-rooms dishes. The vast menu, the bar and the small souvenir kiosk make the restaurant an attraction for tourists and excursionists alike.
The
Rosati family has been in the hotel and restaurant business since 1970.
The concept of hospitality is enhanced by the courtesy, experience and
gastronomy and wine know-how and by the distinctive features of the
single rooms. These factors together give rise to the established trade name Rosati’s Hospitality. The
Funivia restaurant is the milestone from wich the leader of the
group, Vinicio Rosati, and his wife Norina gave way to their company
activities.
How to reach the Funivia restaurant:
From the historical centre of Gubbio, follow the sign Scheggia. There is a junction on the right after about 1,5 Km that lead to the Monte Ingino top. Go up for 3 Km and get to the Funivia Restaurant near the Saint Ubaldo Cathedral. |
